Can We Stop Normalizing “Dreading” the Week Days?

Sunday scaries are not the norm.

Have you noticed that society has somehow normalized dreading the week days, beginning with the so-called “Sunday scaries” and the “Monday blues”?

I am so passionate about this twisted “normalization” because this isn’t normal, and I just can’t get down with it anymore. I was guilting of boasting about experiencing the “sunday scaries” at one point in my life while working a high-demanding corporate job, but I refuse to use this term anymore because it doesn’t resonate with me.

“Dreading” our week isn’t how we’re supposed to be living our precious, miraculous life on Earth as the miracles that we are.

Yet, sadly this “dread” is something that is impacting the majority of people, especially in western society. Many people feel stuck in unfulfilling, uninspiring, demotivating jobs. This is just so saddening to me. This is a huge societal issue that is negatively impacting people’s emotional, energetic, mental, and physical health and well-being.

I have been there.
